I'm John Waid, owner/operator of Bluegrass Shear Sharpening LLC, located in Evansville, Indiana.  I sharpen grooming/salon shears, knives, lawnmower blades, A5 clipper blades, and other items.  I provide mobile sharpening or pickup for many items by request. A drop box is available for early/late drop offs.  Unless otherwise stated, all items will be ready for pickup in 24 hours.

 

I put quality of work, and customer service as my most important goals with each customer.  I was awarded Membership into the International Scissor Sharpener's Association. I also trained (1 on 1) with Ray Pope (legendary sharpening trainer and owner of Precision Sharpener in Holten, Indiana) to ensure that I use the highest quality professional sharpening techniques for all items that I sharpen.

NEW- Mobile services for lawnmower blades for all mowers will be available soon, including push mowers, riding mowers and zero turns.  I'll show up with a lft/ramp and all the tools to quickly and safely remove and sharpen the blades.  See prices for more details!
